    The AstroArcade is a lovingly hand-built, fully functional mini arcade cabinet designed for players who want the nostalgic feel of a classic arcade — without sacrificing modern convenience. Each unit is crafted by hand in the UK, 3D-printed in durable PETG, finished with care, and tuned to offer an authentic, responsive arcade experience in a compact footprint.

    This isn’t a toy or a prop. It’s a true arcade machine, shrunk to desk-friendly proportions.

    👾 Recalbox Front-end

    We deliver the machine fully installed with Recalbox OS. This is a very popular front-end with lots of support for many many systems. Its easy to use, easy to customise and has lots of artwork for use in making your machine what you want. Recalbox has great support for a Marquee display which we offer as an extra. This really improves your experience and is the cherry on top.

    With this machine being Pi based, your not restricted to just using Recalbox, there are many other Arcade Frontends you can install yourself if you wish, but we can only offer support for the original image that ships with machine.

    The MicroSD card is accessable from the rear, so you can keep the original safe if you wish to experiement. Extra Games can be copied easily to the machine through either the web interface, physically to the MicroSD card, or even telnet if you wish, all details are in the manual, either way this is a completely open product, Recalbox is free software with lots of support and functionality (You are not paying ANYTHING for Recalbox).

    📖 Support

    Lots of people are put off emulation believing its confusing, hard to understand etc, which they are, but we promise to offer full support. If any hardware develops a fault that is not your fault we will replace any faulty parts.

    The machines come with a manual explaining simple use of the arcade, and how to use the machine, but we also have a forum where questions can be asked and as a community we can answer. Please make the most of the forum as its a good place to start to ask questions even before purchasing. We are always happy to help.

  • SD card storage upgrades: All machines ship with a stocked 64GB MicroSD, but for those wanting to collect full sets or just more games, you can purchase larger cards from our Extras Page.
